Leak Testing and Repairs
One of our most important vintage camper restoration services is water leak testing and repairs. Water can quickly do significant damage to your camper’s walls, ceiling, floor, insulation, wiring, appliances and more.
Water is very resourceful at finding a way into your camper, through degraded roof seals, window frames, vents, wall protrusions and seams where exterior panels come together.
Damp building materials can give off toxic gases in addition to growing mold, which can be very dangerous to your health.
Wet wood products like wood and plywood, OSB, MDF and particleboard are especially susceptible to water damage. Plywood can easily delaminate, greatly weakening it.
We’ll thoroughly test your vintage camper for leaks and if needed, recommend a course of action to eliminate them and repair any damage.
You may want to consider an annual, preventative leak test to find and fix any small issues before they become big (and more expensive) problems.
